2019 "Purple Buds" Shou Puerh

Old tree (~200 yrs) purple leaf material from Myanmar, fermented in Menghai in 2019. A unique tea, its somewhat rare to come across shou puerh of this quality that is made from both old tree and purple leaf material. This tea is a gem in all respects, we love it!

Tasting notes: rich, full bodied, smooth. Notes of chocolate and nuts, dried fruit.
