2013 Old Tree Raw Puerh from Thailand

A fine old-tree raw (sheng) puerh from the Ming Dee Tea Factory in Thailand. This tea has been stored high in the Thai jungle for most of its life, leading to an exceptional maturity for a sheng of this age. Potent, thick and oily, with stone fruit and wood notes, this one seems to be in a sweet spot of retaining the some of the vigor and vitality of its youth while presenting characteristics of a well aged tea. Excellent stamina through many infusions.
